December 26th
The focus of today’s run is an easy social effort. We will have three pace group for you to choose from (see below). We’ll gather at the Thetis Lake main parking lot and then head out towards the trails behind Thetis summiting both Scafe & Stewart.

Group 1: 6:30-7:30/km pace led by Nico

December 28th
Today’s run is an interval style workout (see below for workout details). We will meet at the intersection of Lochside and Blenkinsop Greenway and run to PKOLS. We will all do the warmup and strides together. I’ll explain the main set after the strides, after this I’ll start everyone together and you will all do the workout at your own pace. We will then all do the cool down together back to the start.

3x[1.5k or 2k Best Average Effort with 2 min rest]

Best Average Effort = hold the fastest possible tempo triangle time across all intervals. IE: try to keep the time the same for each loop.
Bad workout execution is a very fast interval 1 and then they get slower each time. Good execution is your loop times being within 5s of each other.

December 30th
This run is focused on vertical gain and as such is a challenging run. We'll be doing a segment called Ed's 7 Summits of S/S. It is a segment that goes up and down Scafe & Stewart 7 different ways. You go up Scafe 3 times and Stewart 4 times. Once you get to the top you go back down the same way you came up, then proceed to the next ascent and repeat times 7. We will all start at the same time and then do the route at our own pace. Option to do less than 7 summits for those looking for a shorter vert run. The segment was created by Ed Welwood so kudos to him!

Monday January 1st
Finishing the camp off with a bang! This is Nico's BIG loop in Gowland Todd plus an option for a shorter loop. Take a loop at the map to get a feel for it. It will surely test your endurance and climbing ability. We’ll have 2 pace groups for the Bigger Loop and 1 for the Big Loop for this one so there will options available. It's going to be an epic day. Make sure you have enough hydration and fuel for this one!
